Credits and Appreciations
Shaolin Chess was born from lying face down after an especially hard week of work. I had just finished Miyamoto Musashi's The Five Rings, and I started reminiscing on my childhood and the games I used to play. I envisioned a fierce battle of a board game, of area influence and endless tactics. When inspiration struck, I jolted up, immediately bought a Chinese Checkers board, and started working.
Even through continual criticism, vain dismissals, financial setbacks, and steep learning curves, I knew my game would be something special so I never stopped polishing it.
It is only through the love and support of the people below that I could ever make it properly.
